At this years Big One carp show at Farnborough show ground , Anglers Mail hosted a competition for which the top prize was a holiday to Lac Chateau Cavagnac Free of charge!

Lucky lady angler 'Mags' won the competition and snatched up the holiday prize. Mags then went on to fish hard over the week with conditions being far from ideal.

Mags landed 3 carp in total topped by the much sought after Single Scale at a whopping 67lbs!

Mags told us - "As I'm sure you can imagine I was over the moon to catch Single Scale and smash my Carp PB but I also beat my PB tench at 8lb 12oz and my pike PB at 20lb 5oz. I had a fantastic week and would recommend it to anyone. Also the fact that the bailiffs mark,david and lee were a great help and made the trip even more enjoyable cannot be ignored - Thanks Guys"
